Who I am

I was born in Denver, Colorado, but I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when I was eleven.  Since that time, I have lived in San Diego, Monterey, San Antonio, Wichita Falls, Spain, Japan, and most recently, Bremerton, Washington.

I am currently a resident at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton finishing up Baylor Health Care Administration Program.  My experience has been positive, but I do look forward to graduating!

I guess this Navy thing runs in the family

Not a Recruiting Poster, but maybe it should have been,,,

My Dad joined the Navy in 1942 at 17.  My uncle, Duncan, had been captured in early 1942, and Dad had visions of working to free him.  My uncle died in captivity, but my father learned a lot about life.  After the Navy, he used his GI Bill to go to school.  My dad used his education to help many people as a social worker.  Even though he died over 10 years ago, he still inpires me.
